(DDM) – The Nigerian Army has stepped up its fight against terrorism and organized crime, conducting simultaneous military operations across all six geopolitical zones over the past 48 hours.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that these coordinated offensives targeted insurgent camps, criminal hideouts, and illegal arms depots, with the goal of disrupting terrorist networks and restoring security in volatile regions.

According to sources within the military, the operations involved ground troops, air support, and intelligence-led missions to apprehend suspects linked to terrorist and criminal activities.

The army emphasized that these missions were designed to safeguard civilians, secure critical infrastructure, and curtail the growing threat posed by armed groups.

Officials also confirmed that several high-value targets were neutralized or arrested during the coordinated offensives, though details remain classified for operational security.

Community leaders in affected areas praised the Nigerian Army for taking decisive action, noting that citizens have endured repeated attacks from insurgents and bandits, particularly in the North-East and North-West regions.

The Army’s recent moves align with ongoing efforts by the federal government to strengthen national security, counter violent extremism, and combat organized crime, including kidnapping and armed robbery.

Military analysts told DDM that the simultaneous nationwide operations demonstrate improved coordination, intelligence-sharing, and rapid deployment capabilities within the Nigerian Army.

They suggested that such measures could significantly reduce criminal activities if sustained over time.

The Nigerian Army further appealed to citizens to cooperate with security forces by providing actionable intelligence and supporting efforts to maintain law and order in their communities.
