Adamawa Now Among North-East’s Most Peaceful States — Fintiri

(DDM) – Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has declared Adamawa State as one of the most peaceful and stable states in Nigeria’s troubled North-East region.

Diaspora Digital Media DDM gathered that the governor made the statement while addressing stakeholders during a security and development briefing held at the Government House in Yola.

He emphasized that his administration’s commitment to justice, fairness, and security has significantly transformed the safety landscape across the state.

Governor Fintiri said that peace has returned to several communities that were once vulnerable to banditry, insurgency, and communal conflicts.

He explained that sustained military operations and community policing partnerships have contributed to the improved atmosphere enjoyed across the state.

According to him, Adamawa has become a model for what coordinated security collaboration can achieve in a region once plagued by instability.

He added that Adamawa’s turnaround is a result of deliberate investments in security architecture and intelligence-driven operations.

The governor pointed out that local vigilante groups working with the police and military have played crucial roles in securing remote communities.

He stressed that his administration has prioritized justice and fairness as essential tools for reconciliation and long-term stability.

Fintiri stated that displaced families have gradually returned to their homes due to the improved safety environment.
