DDM gathered that Larry, who was rescued from @pawschicago in February 2015, had been a beloved companion for Punk and AJ Lee, playing a significant role in their lives and even appearing at recent WWE events alongside AJ.
In his emotional post, Punk reflected on the deep bond he shared with Larry, describing the grief of losing him as “the price we pay for unconditional love.”
He wrote that Larry crossed the “rainbow bridge” wrapped in their arms, safe, happy, and surrounded by love, emphasizing that no words or pictures could fully capture the joy Larry brought to their lives.
Punk recounted the cherished moments they shared, including watching sunsets, chasing skateboards, and making every place they visited feel like home, highlighting the unique personality and charm of their pet.
He expressed gratitude for the privilege of having experienced such a strong bond, acknowledging that the heartbreak of losing Larry is outweighed by the love and memories they shared.
“The house is quiet but we still hear the jingle of his necklace and the tip taps of his little feet on the hardwood floors. He will always be near. We will always feel him,” Punk wrote.
