A young man identified as Chisom, was fatally stabbed following a dispute over a phone charger with his cousin on December 19.
Reports indicate Chisom had lent the charger to his cousin, but a disagreement arose when he went to retrieve it, escalating into a violent fight.
During the altercation, the cousin allegedly stabbed Chisom multiple times. The victim’s uncle reportedly joined the attack. Both the cousin and uncle were later arrested, while local youths allegedly set the uncle’s house on fire in retaliation.
A video obtained by reporters shows Chisom’s remains on a hospital bed as relatives mourned. Authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
