Anthony Joshua, the world-renowned heavyweight boxer, was involved in a deadly road accident in Makun, Ogun State, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
He was traveling in a Lexus Jeep (KRD 850 HN) that collided with a stationary truck, resulting in two fatalities and minor injuries to Joshua himself.
Eyewitness Adeniyi Orojo, who participated in the rescue operation, confirmed the accident occurred near Danco Filling Station, before Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound lane.
Joshua’s fans have taken to social media to express concern, while authorities investigate the cause of the crash.
