Chairman of FlowFM 92.7 and Stefolga Group, Araba Olufemi Sanni, has urged residents of Kwara State to embrace unity, prayer, and peaceful coexistence as Christians begin Lent and Muslims prepare for Ramadan.
In a goodwill message, Sanni described the two observances as sacred seasons of sacrifice, discipline, and spiritual renewal, noting that their simultaneous occurrence highlights the shared moral values across both faiths.
“As our Christian brothers and sisters embark on the Lenten journey and our Muslim faithful welcome Ramadan, I join them in prayer and reflection,” he said.
He stressed that the periods should inspire compassion, charity, and renewed devotion to the wellbeing of society.
Sanni called on Kwarans to use the season to pray for peace, security, and sustained development in the state and the country at large.
“These sacred seasons remind us that despite our different paths of worship, we share common values of love, discipline, and care for our neighbours,” he stated.
He urged residents to uphold the culture of harmony for which Kwara is known, adding that interfaith unity remains vital to social stability and progress.
Sanni concluded with prayers for divine acceptance of sacrifices and a spiritually rewarding observance for both Christians and Muslims.
