Trump Issues Expletive-Laden Threat to Iran Over Strait of Hormuz

United States President Donald Trump has issued a fresh and explosive warning to Iran, vowing devastating military action in a profanity-laced social media post following the dramatic rescue of US airmen behind enemy lines.

Writing on Truth Social early Easter Sunday, Trump threatened to unleash massive strikes on Iran’s critical infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened.

“Open the Strait… or you’ll be living in hell,” he warned, ending the message with the unexpected phrase, “Praise be to Allah.”

The threat comes days after US-Israeli airstrikes destroyed a major Iranian bridge linking Tehran to Karaj, reportedly killing at least eight people and injuring dozens more.

Tensions have further escalated since Iran shut down the Strait of Hormuz — a vital global oil route — following the outbreak of war in late February.

Meanwhile, Trump confirmed that US special forces successfully carried out a high-risk rescue mission to extract two airmen whose F-15 fighter jet was shot down over Iranian territory.

One of the crew members reportedly evaded capture for nearly 48 hours in mountainous terrain while injured, before being recovered in a complex operation involving helicopters, warplanes, and ground forces.

US forces reportedly destroyed some of their own aircraft during the mission to prevent them from falling into Iranian hands, as clashes broke out with pursuing enemy forces.

Trump described the operation as “one of the most daring search and rescue missions in US history,” insisting that no American service member would be left behind.
