Police Arrest Four-Man Syndicate Over N4.6m Fraud In Rivers State

PORT HARCOURT — The Nigeria Police Force in Rivers State has arrested a four-man robbery syndicate accused of defrauding an employer of ₦4.6 million through a house help arrangement.

Police authorities disclosed that the suspects were apprehended following an investigation into a reported case of financial fraud involving a domestic worker and external collaborators.

According to investigators, the alleged scheme involved the house help gaining the trust of the employer before coordinating with accomplices to execute the fraud.

The suspects reportedly exploited their access to the residence and sensitive financial information to carry out the operation.
