AYFN Opens Fully Funded Autumn Korean Culture Camp 2026

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – The AYFN Academy has announced applications for its fully funded Autumn Korean Culture Camp 2026, a six-day international cultural exchange programme scheduled to take place in Seoul, South Korea.

The programme, set for November 1 to November 6, 2026, is designed for young students and aspiring global leaders interested in experiencing South Korea’s traditions, modern lifestyle, and cultural heritage through immersive learning and guided participation.

Organisers said the initiative aims to promote intercultural understanding, global friendship, and experiential learning by bringing together participants from different countries for direct engagement with Korean society.

The camp is structured as a short-term cultural immersion programme that blends educational activities, tourism exposure, language learning, and community interaction, giving participants a practical understanding of South Korea beyond academic study.

Programme Coverage And Benefits

The fully funded package includes a travel allowance of up to USD 750, accommodation for the duration of the programme, daily meals, local transportation within Seoul, and access to all scheduled cultural activities.

Participants will also receive an official e-certificate of participation upon completion of the programme, along with administrative and logistical support throughout their stay in South Korea.

Organisers noted that the funding structure is designed to reduce financial barriers and ensure equal access for students from diverse economic backgrounds across the world.

Programme Features

The six-day camp includes cultural immersion activities across Seoul, allowing participants to explore both historical landmarks and modern attractions.

Selected participants will engage in Korean cultural experiences such as traditional practices, food culture exposure, and guided city tours, while also interacting with local communities and international peers.

The programme also includes a pre-departure online Korean language course to help participants gain basic communication skills before arrival.

Organisers added that participants will be encouraged to document their experiences through photography, storytelling, and social media engagement as part of cultural exchange learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 35, be open to all nationalities, and demonstrate a strong interest in travel, culture, leadership development, and international learning.

Basic English communication skills are required, along with active participation in youth or social activities being considered an advantage.

Applicants must also be physically and mentally fit for travel and willing to participate in programme-related documentation activities.

Application Requirements

Candidates are expected to submit a Europass CV, a 250-word motivation letter titled “Why do I need this scholarship?”, a 250-word essay titled “Why do I deserve this scholarship?”, and a self-introduction video.

Applicants are also required to provide proof of purchase of an official e-book, which forms part of the application process.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants must complete an online application form via the official AYFN portal, upload all required documents, and submit their essays and video introduction.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview before final selection is made based on motivation, application quality, and overall suitability.

Important Notice

Although the programme is described as fully funded, applicants are required to purchase an official e-book as part of the application process. There is no separate application fee apart from this requirement.
