Premier League unveils Manager of the Month Award shortlist

The Premier League has unveiled a list of four club head coaches nominated for the coveted Manager of the Month Award.
The prize is for the month of October 2024.
Nuno Espirito Santo (Nottingham Forest)
Nottingham Forest manager Nuno has taken Nottingham Forest to seventh place in the Premier League table after an unbeaten month featuring a draw at Chelsea and back-to-back victories over Crystal Palace and Leicester City.
Only one of Forest’s matches were at home, while their successive wins to end the month mean they head into their next match with the chance to win three consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since 1999.

Pep Guardiola (Man City)
P3 W3 D0 L0 GD+3
Manchester City were the only team to win all of their October matches as Guardiola’s side ended October as the Premier League’s sole unbeaten side in 2024/25.
They beat Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton, each by a one-goal margin, with the victories over Fulham and Wolves both coming after City had fallen behind.
Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton)
P3 W2 D1 L0 GD+2
Hurzeler’s Brighton & Hove Albion had an unbeaten month that started with a piece of history.
In beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-2, they won a Premier League match that they trailed 2-0 at half-time for the first time.
Brighton then became the first team since Man City in January to beat Newcastle United at St James’ Park, before ending the month with a 2-2 home draw with Wolves.
Arne Slot (Liverpool)
P3 W2 D1 L0 GD+2
Liverpool continued their impressive start under Dutch manager Slot. They won at Palace before becoming only the second team to beat Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea.
Slot’s side then twice came from behind to draw at Arsenal and remain four points above the Gunners in the title race.
That result kept Liverpool unbeaten away from home this season, with the Reds picking up more points on the road this season than any other team.
