Air Force Releases List of Successful Candidates for Military Schools Interviews

ABUJA, Nigeria — The Nigerian Air Force has officially released the list of successful candidates shortlisted for the selection interview into Air Force Military Schools for the 2026/2027 academic session, a spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday.

The announcement, contained in a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, covers admission into Junior Secondary School 1 of the Air Force Military School, Air Force Girls’ Military School, Jos, and 13 other Air Force Comprehensive and Secondary Schools across the country.

The release of the list marks a significant milestone in the annual admission exercise, which attracts thousands of applicants from across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. According to the statement, successful candidates are to collect their interview invitation letters from their respective chosen schools beginning Monday, 6 July 2026. The Air Force has urged all shortlisted candidates and their guardians to adhere strictly to the collection schedule to avoid disqualification.

The selection interview for the Air Force Military School and Air Force Girls’ Military School, Jos, will be conducted in two batches to accommodate the large number of successful candidates from different regions of the country. Batch One, covering candidates from Abia to Kano States, is scheduled to hold from 3 to 7 August 2026, while Batch Two, comprising candidates from Katsina to Zamfara States, will take place from 7 to 11 August 2026.

Candidates seeking admission into other Nigerian Air Force Secondary Schools are expected to participate in their selection interview on 18 August 2026. The Air Force has emphasized that candidates must appear at their designated interview centers on the specified dates, as no provisions will be made for latecomers or rescheduling.

The Nigerian Air Force advised all shortlisted candidates and their guardians to adhere strictly to the interview schedule and complete all necessary documentation ahead of the exercise.

The list of successful candidates and additional information on the admission process are available on the Nigerian Air Force’s official website, www.airforce.mil.ng, and the Nigerian Air Force Education Command website. Candidates may also check the lists at NAF Secondary Schools or through the Nigerian Air Force’s official websites.

The Air Force also advised candidates to use the result checker on the portal to verify their examination results.
