PDP Seeks IGP’s Intervention in Slain Osun Teenager’s Murder Probe

OSOGBO, Osun State — The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has called on the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to ensure a transparent and impartial investigation into the murder of 17-year-old Ezekiel Olapade, who was allegedly shot by unidentified gunmen in Osogbo.

The party condemned the killing and expressed concern over the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death, urging the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident. The PDP also called on the IGP to ensure that those responsible for the killing are brought to justice.

In a statement issued on Friday, the PDP spokesman said the party would not tolerate the use of political thuggery to intimidate or harm its members and supporters.
