A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to recount a disturbing experience involving officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), claiming her home was invaded in the early hours of the morning.

According to her account, the officers reportedly arrived unannounced around 3 a.m., forcefully gaining entry into the house. She alleged that the situation quickly turned chaotic, with physical assault and intimidation.

“EFCC came to her house unannounced at 3am, they broke the door and started beating us. I was with my 3-month-old baby… they were up to 30,” she said.

The woman further claimed that her phone was seized when she attempted to record the incident, and that she was threatened with harm. Despite this, she said she followed the officers when they took her husband away, only to be told later that he was not in their custody.

She added that nothing incriminating was found on either her or her husband, suggesting that the operation may have been linked to the vehicle he owns.
