The Supreme Court today hears the appeal of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, against the nullification of his election by the Court of Appeal.
Speaking on the heightened expectation, Wike said: “The court may also determine the suit today. I don’t know for certain.
“Only the Supreme Court knows. It would not be strange if it does so. I’m informed it did so for some other cases.
“But here is the point: no matter how it goes, Wike Wins and Rivers State will win.
“If Governor Wike wins today, which we pray for, Rivers State will win.
“If a rerun is ordered and we go back to the polls, Wike will win and Rivers will win.
“At this time in our history, Wike is tied to the salvation of Rivers State against political fundamentalists who wish to conquer and enslave our people.
“Rivers people understand the issues and remain ready.
As a Lawyer, I have confidence in the Supreme Court to do justice.
“So there’s no cause for alarm. Have a blessed day.”
