Apostle Nkono inaugurates ADF in Oro Nation

All Progressives Congress (APC) affiliated group, Akwa Ibom Democratic Forum (ADF), has successfully inaugurated its chapters’ executive members in the five Local Government Areas of Oro Nation.
Coordinator of the group in Eket Senatorial District, Apostle Abasiandikan Nkono, led the ADF Administrative Secretary, Prof Anthony Usoro, chapter coordinators across the state and party faithful to Oron, Mbo, Udung Uko, Urueoffong Oruko, and Okobo Local Government Areas, on Saturday.
Nkono, who is also the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Eket Local Government Area, hailed the inauguration ceremonies held in the respective LGAs as a significant milestone in the quest of expanding the reach of APC in Akwa Ibom State.
He said the new era of ADF will continue connecting APC and Akwa Ibom State with the federal government as well as assist the party in its quest of becoming the ruling party in Akwa Ibom State.
He commended the Grand Leader of ADF and Leader of the Party in Akwa Ibom, Senate President Godswill Akpabio for his leadership and vision, stating that he has “pointed the way” for the group.
He also praised members for working hard to ensure that the APC and ADF remain the platform of choice in Akwa Ibom State, highlighting the group’s contributions to the growth and development of the party in the state.
Apostle Nkono also emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among members, urging them to work together to achieve the group’s objectives. He encouraged the newly inaugurated chapters to be committed to the ideals of the ADF and to strive for excellence in their activities.
Apostle Nkono further counselled the newly inaugurated executives, saying: “As you begin this new chapter, I urge you to remain committed to the ideals of our great party. Be guided by the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability. Always put the interests of our people above personal interests and work tirelessly to promote the welfare and well-being of our communities.”
He continued: “As leaders, you have a sacred responsibility to serve our people with humility, compassion, and wisdom. Be accessible, listen to their concerns, and respond to their needs. Remember that leadership is not about personal aggrandizement, but about serving others and making a positive impact on society.”
Professor Anthony Usoro, the Administrative Secretary of the group, also addressed the gatherings, reiterating the importance of teamwork and dedication. He congratulated the newly inaugurated chapters and assured them of the support and guidance of the state leadership.
The inaugurated members affirmed their loyalty to ADF, APC and Senator Akpabio.
Coordinators of the respective inaugurated chapters are: Peter John Bassey (Oron), Hon. Asuquo Nkereuwem Okon (Mbo), Nelson Etim Ukim (Urueoffong Oruko), Comrade Pius Akaiso (Okobo) and Iniobong Edmond (Udung Uko).
