Be stingy with your penis and vagina: Trump’s decision and the growing HIV crisis

Over 1.9 million people in Nigeria are living with HIV, a disease that continues to spread at an alarming rate.

According the data available to Diaspora digital media (DDM), among Nigerian states, Akwa Ibom has the highest HIV prevalence, standing at 5.5%.

This means that 302,500 people in Akwa Ibom alone are already living with the virus.

With the virus being so easily transmitted, the risks of HIV are higher than ever.

One casual sexual encounter can result in the transmission of the virus, making the need for caution more pressing than ever.

The good news is that there are Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) drugs that can manage HIV, prevent it from turning into full-blown AIDS, and make the virus undetectable in the body, which reduces transmission risks.

Unfortunately, these ART drugs are extremely expensive, and a large portion of the Nigerian population cannot afford them.

This has led Nigeria to rely heavily on international donations and aid to access these life-saving medications.

However, recent geopolitical changes are about to make this situation even more difficult.

Donald Trump’s decision to pull the United States out of the World Health Organization (WHO) has major consequences.

Without the support from the USA, the resources available to fight HIV, including ART drugs, will dwindle.

This change means fewer donations and support for countries like Nigeria, where HIV continues to affect millions.

The loss of this critical aid will undoubtedly have devastating consequences, as ART drugs are a lifeline for those living with the virus.

In the coming months, without ART drugs, we are likely to witness a significant rise in the number of people with HIV who progress to AIDS.

As a result, the death toll from AIDS-related complications will climb, putting even more strain on the healthcare system.

ART drugs are effective in keeping the virus under control and preventing its spread.

Without them, many people will see their health deteriorate, and the impact on public health could be catastrophic.

Now more than ever, it is crucial for individuals to take responsibility for their sexual health.

If you’re not already living with HIV, it’s important to be “stingy” with your penis and vagina.

This means exercising self-control, avoiding casual sex, and insisting on proper medical screenings before engaging in any sexual activity.

Being responsible for your sexual health could literally save your life.

Make sure to protect yourself and your partner by ensuring both of you are HIV-free before having sex.

If your partner is not committed to staying faithful or does not prioritize your health, consider ending the relationship.

It’s far better to be single than to risk contracting a life-threatening disease.

As we face the possibility of an increase in HIV cases turning to AIDS, the need to be cautious with your sexual health is more pressing than ever.

The reality is that AIDS is a deadly disease, and without the proper treatment, it can take a life.

People who have HIV and do not receive the ART drugs may not only develop AIDS but also face higher chances of death.

While the world continues to move forward, those affected by AIDS may find themselves left behind.

The situation will likely worsen as the availability of ART drugs becomes even more uncertain due to political and economic challenges.

So, be wise.

“If you’re not already positive, zip up!

“Protect your body, your future, and your life.”

Remember, being stingy with your penis and vagina is one of the best ways to keep yourself safe from this growing epidemic.

Please share to save life…….

Thank you
