Shocking: Fulani Herdsmen butcher man in Enugu State

Published

on

Fulani cattle rearers have attached and left a tale of woes in Enugu community.

Elombah.com gathered that the victim, a young man, was found lying in his pool of blood.

The unfortunate incident happened in a little community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area in Enugu State.

Presently, the residents are in fear and apprehension of another attack and have sent SOS to security operatives.

It is a fact that the Fulani herdsmen have become more daring of recent, but it is even more ironic that the federal government is doing nothing to curb the menace.

The beggarly nomads have upscaled from minor squabbles with their host communities, to high profile kidnap, murder and outright invasion of whole communities.

Recent examples are the kidnap of Chief Olu Falae, the former Secretary to the federal government; the gruesome murder of a Delta Monarch, HRM Akaeze Edward Ofulue III, and the incessant invasion of Benue State communities which has seen hundreds, if not thousands, dead.

The daring Fulani herdsmen have been sight wielding automatic rifles like AK-47.

The descent into anarchy should be a cause of concern to governments at all levels.
