The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, has announced admission into its degree programmes in partnership with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).

According to Diaspora digital media (DDM) the institution invites qualified candidates to apply for various Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Applicants must meet specific requirements to secure admission into the available degree courses under this affiliation.

Available Programmes

The following B.Sc. degree programmes are offered through the affiliation between Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, and UNIMAID:

B.Sc. Accounting

B.Sc. Banking and Finance

B.Sc. Public Administration

B.Sc. Mass Communication

B.Sc. Business Administration and Management

Admission Requirements

JAMB/UTME Candidates

JAMB/UTME candidates must meet the required cut-off mark for their chosen programme before securing admission.

Applicants must select Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (affiliated with UNIMAID) as their first-choice institution in JAMB.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five O’Level credits, including English, Mathematics, and relevant subjects.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants must obtain at least a Lower Credit in a National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution.

Candidates with a good Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) result from an accredited institution are also eligible.

All applicants must provide valid academic records to be considered for admission.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates must follow the outlined steps to complete their admission application successfully.

Applicants must pay a non-refundable screening fee of N2,000 before proceeding with the registration process.

After payment, candidates must present the bank slip to the Directorate for an admission PIN.

Candidates must complete the online application and upload all required documents before submission.
