Egyptian striker and Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah gave a match-winning performance against Manchester City on Sunday.

He scored and provided an assist in Liverpool’s 2:nil victory over their visitors Maanchester City.

His performance solidified Liverpool’s place at the top of the EPL table.

It also saw the Liverpool striker break two significant Premier League records.

Mohammed Salah has scored 16 away goals in the EPL this season.

He has now equaled the number of away goals scored by a player in the EPL.

Kevin Philips and Harry Kane were previous joint holders of this record.

Salah has also become the first player to register more than 10 goals and more than 10 assists in three consecutive seasons.

These records demonstrate Salah’s impressive performance in the English Premier League and solidify his position as one of the league’s top players.

In the game against Manchester City, the visitors had started brightly.

They had the greater possession and looked to break the deadlock.

But a defensive blunder from Manchester City defence, resulted to a Liverpool corner.

It was from the resultant corner kick, which was a well-worked corner routine.

A routine where the ball was pulled back to Salah and he calmly slotted home,  from around 12 yards to put the current league leaders ahead in the 14th minute of the game.

Though he scored with the aid of a deflection off Nathan Ake’s foot, past goalkeeper Ederson.

City kept pushing for an equalizer and thought they had got one when Omah Marmoush had the ball in the back of Liverpool’s net.
