Never Had Accident, Was Not In Coma — Governor El-Rufai

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has denied being involved in a road accident and in coma on Thursday.

Governor El-Rufai took to his Twitter handle and his Facebook page to debunk the news making round that he was involved in a fatal accident.

According to the rumour making the round, El-Rufai fell into come following the accident.

Lere Olayinka had written on his Twitter handle @OlayinkaLere:

“He went to Abuja to plan the rigging of Kano, Sokoto, Adamawa and Bauchi rerun elections with six other governors, he had fatal accident while returning to his State. Driver confirmed dead already.

“If you help me see that midget Governor of Kaduna, Nasir el-Rufai, wish him soonest recovery. “

Reacting, however, the governor said that he was at post-election receptions in Kaduna on Sunday night and not in Kano as alleged.
