He reassured the nation that he is well aware of the challenges faced by citizens and addressed these issues in his Renewed Hope Agenda.

President Tinubu stated, “I am well aware that for some time now the conversations and debates have centred on the rising cost of living, high inflation which is now above 28%, and the unacceptable high under-employment rate.”

He further empathized with Nigerians, acknowledging the groans of those working hard to provide for themselves and their families. He expressed his understanding of the frustrations voiced by citizens and assured them that their concerns are not overlooked.

The President emphasized, “Dear Compatriots, take this from me: the time may be rough and tough; however, our spirit must remain unbowed because tough times never last.”

He encouraged Nigerians to face the socio-economic challenges with resilience and optimism, stating, “We are made for this period, never to flinch, never to falter.”

President Tinubu urged citizens to view the current circumstances as an opportunity for renewed commitment to the betterment of the nation. He said, “The socio-economic challenges of today should energize and rekindle our love and faith in the promise of Nigeria.”

He concluded by calling on every citizen to commit to being better in the New Year, fostering a collective effort towards a stronger and more prosperous nation.

In this New Year 2024, President Bola Tinubu’s message emphasizes the importance of resilience, hope, and collective commitment to overcoming challenges for the greater good of Nigeria.
