Dr. Moses Paul, known as Dr. Mo, shared a vision for Nigeria’s future.

He is an aide to Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate.

Dr. Mo envisions a nation where leadership is based on merit, not ethnicity, Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports.

He outlined his thoughts in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The post, titled “Nigeria 2075: A New Dawn of True Federalism and Mutual Respect,” details his ideas.

Dr. Mo imagined a future where ethnic identity no longer defines political leadership.

He suggested that merit would replace tribe as the key factor in leadership selection.

In his vision, a Southern Kaduna woman would govern Kaduna, and an Idoma would govern Benue.

He also envisioned a Fulani governor for Plateau, a Yoruba for Anambra, and an Igbo for Lagos.

Dr. Mo emphasized that such leadership transitions would be accepted without resistance or violence.

He said that these changes would not provoke protests, nor would they be considered strange or unusual.

He stressed that a nation based on merit would bring about true unity.

Dr. Mo’s Nigeria would transcend ethnic and linguistic boundaries, fostering mutual respect.

According to him, by 2075, tribe and language would no longer influence trust or territorial claims.

Merit, not ethnic background, would drive progress in the country.

He urged Nigerians to begin working toward this vision today, as it is achievable.

Dr. Mo called for a shift from partisanship to patriotism, emphasizing unity over uniformity.

He also urged Nigerians to prioritize purpose over prejudice.

In his view, raising future generations of leaders based on merit is key.

He concluded by urging citizens to instill these values in their homes, schools, and at the ballot box.

“Nigeria will rise when every Nigerian belongs everywhere,” Dr. Mo wrote.

His message has sparked a national conversation about unity and progress.

Dr. Mo’s vision calls for a Nigeria where leadership is determined by ability, not ethnic background.

It offers hope for a future where merit, rather than tribe, shapes the nation’s direction.

His ideas are a call to action for citizens and leaders alike.
