Iyika receives Honorary Doctorate Degree Award

A young progressive real estate consultant, Iyika Godwin Chukwuemeka, has recently received an honorary doctorate degree award in public Administration from Alive Theological Seminary, Owerri.

The Award which was personally handed over to him by the Chancellor of the Institution, Bishop Professor Uzoma Emmanuel Afamefuna, attracted many dignitaries from various walks of life.

The award was also given to him during the Convocation/Matriculation and Ordination programme of the Institution which was carried out at its usual venue, Christ The Good Shepherd, No. 38 Mbaise Road, Owerri.

In an interaction with newsmen at same venue, he expressed great appreciation about his doctorate award from a revered body of Christ like Alive Theological Seminary, Owerri.

Iyika added that such a great recognition would spur him to do more in the area of community development and service to God.

He explained that before obtaining his recent doctorate honorary degree, he had gotten his primary and Secondary education from the East.

“My degree in Agriculture was obtained from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, and I specialized in Animal Science.

“I was born n Kaduna state before I returned to the East for the commencement of my early education.

“I was inducted into the Institute of Animal Science of Nigeria with a proven certificate”, he noted.

Iyika assured the public of his preparedness to enroll into the fellow of same Institute to get the certificate of a Registered Animal Scientist(RAS).

He added that he had previously worked with all his acquired certificates in some related companies such as pharmaceutical and animal drug companies before his full switch over to Real Estate business.

The young energetic fair-complexioned personality said, he has been into Real Estate business for many years with a passion in handling many construction activities and interior and exterior designs.

” Before now I partnered with IBC Construction Ltd. and owns an Ayale Ivory Limited.

“I derived the name of this company, Ayale, from a Greek name in line with my Christian background as a Catholic and a believer in Israelites and Israeli languages.

“Though I’m a Catholic, but I like here because it is a non- denominational ministry”, Iyika hinted.

Iyika disclosed that he appreciates the level of road construction at Chukwuma Nwoha axis on his arrival to Owerri for the said award collection.

Stressing that such a level of development was not in place during the last time he visited Owerri.

He assured people that the Doctorate award should not only be the
award that will come on his way but that he would expect to receive a similar international recognition in future.

Dignitaries that received similar honorary doctorate degree award included Apostle Okere Anelechi Canice, Okorakpa Omovwera Lucky and Akwolu Michael Ejiofor.
