Tensions have erupted into full-blown crisis as Iran has issued a dire warning in response to the devastating U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear facilities.

In an official statement from Tehran, Iranian officials declared that the American attack “will have everlasting consequences,” and warned Washington and its allies to prepare for a response that could reshape the region for years to come.

The announcement follows President Trump’s earlier message boasting of the “total obliteration” of Iran’s nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan in a coordinated U.S. air and missile strike just hours ago.

Iran’s foreign ministry condemned the strikes as a “flagrant violation of sovereignty” and accused the United States of committing an act of war.

“America has crossed a red line,” the ministry stated. “Their aggression will not be forgotten. The consequences will echo beyond borders, beyond governments—and beyond time.”

While Tehran has not yet revealed its exact plans for retaliation, Iranian military forces remain on high alert, with missile units repositioning and naval activity spiking in the Strait of Hormuz.

Experts interpret the phrase as a signal that Iran may pursue both immediate military response and long-term strategic revenge, including ballistic missile strikes on U.S. bases in Iraq, Syria, and the Gulf, proxy attacks by Hezbollah or Houthis on American and Israeli targets, cyber warfare aimed at critical infrastructure, and nuclear acceleration—possibly withdrawing from IAEA inspections permanently.

Israel praised the U.S. strike and warned Iran against attacking “any Israeli interests.”

Russia and China condemned Washington’s aggression and urged restraint. The U.N. Security Council is expected to hold an emergency session within the next 24 hours.

Markets are already rattled. Brent crude has surged, global airlines are rerouting, and investors are bracing for geopolitical fallout.

Iran’s vow of “everlasting consequences” raises the stakes dramatically following the most direct U.S. attack on Iranian soil in decades.

As both nations brace for possible retaliation and counter-retaliation, the Middle East—and the world—stands on the brink.
