In another development, Dr. Moghalu, has gained significant momentum as the Door-2-Door Grassroot Movement, a frontline political support group rooted in the legacy of the late Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, declared their full support for his candidacy.

The endorsement came during a strategic meeting held at Dr. Moghalu’s residence in Uruagu-Nnewi.

There, members of the movement regarded as one of the strongest grassroots structures in the state, pledged allegiance to his campaign.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Moghalu thanked them for their trust and solidarity, urging them to walk the journey to Agu Awka together.

“I am not just a politician. One thing you must know about me is that I stand by my words.

“I believe in trust; I believe in loyalty. Bring your commitment, and I assure you — I will not disappoint you.

“This is just the beginning. God, who has brought us this far, will surely take us to the end.

“Remember, it is God that makes kings,” he said.

He further assured the group that they would be fully integrated into his campaign structure, stating that every committed supporter would have a place in the campaign council.

The ANSAA boss, Tony Ujubuonu, had earlier explained that the permit fee is a statutory requirement for all political parties intending to conduct outdoor advertising during the election period.

A total of 16 political parties have been cleared by INEC, and the permit process is expected to generate over ₦800 million for the state.

Speaking after the payment, Chief Dr. George Moghalu described it as more than a formality, calling it “a public declaration of discipline, order, and responsible leadership.”

“This payment is proof that we are ready—not just to campaign, but to govern.

“Our approach to leadership starts with accountability and respect for institutions.

“We are setting a new tone for governance in Anambra,” Moghalu said.

He assured Ndi Anambra that his campaign will focus on real issues affecting their daily lives—security, infrastructure, jobs, education, and good governance.

“We are not here to make noise—we are here to deliver results, to restore dignity to governance, and to bring prosperity to our people,” Moghalu affirmed.
