ADC Launches Membership Drive in Gombe State

After the African Democratic Congress (ADC) formed as a coalition party, it began registering new members in Gombe State.
This strategic move aims to strengthen the ADC’s grassroots presence and establish credibility as a political alternative in Nigeria.
Furthermore, this initiative is crucial for the ADC as it prepares for the upcoming general elections.
By expanding its membership base, the party seeks to engage more citizens and enhance its influence across the region.
During a brief ceremony on Tuesday, ADC state executives reaffirmed their commitment to the national coalition.
They committed to collaborating with various political groups, aiming to address urgent national challenges effectively and efficiently.
This coalition actively seeks to unite diverse political forces, strategically repositioning the ADC as a powerful entity in Gombe State and beyond.
During an expanded caucus meeting, Hon. Auwal Barde, the ADC Chairman in Gombe State, emphasized the coalition’s importance for the party’s future.
He highlighted that the ADC focuses on establishing a “winning structure” by inviting new members and fostering inclusivity.
“This coalition represents a strategic step to reposition our party as a force in Nigerian politics.
By opening our membership register, we invite like-minded Nigerians seeking an end to recycled leadership and broken promises,” Barde stated.
“We are prepared to introduce a new direction based on accountability, inclusion, and governance that prioritizes people.”
Senator Umar confidently expressed his support, emphasizing that the coalition’s primary goal is to unseat the APC reliably.
Moreover, Umar stated that, because of this unity, the coalition actively seeks solutions to alleviate hardships and national challenges.
This movement actively involves Nigerians, and therefore, encourages widespread participation to achieve success and meaningful national change.
Moreover, he announced that the ADC’s new membership register would be accessible across all 114 wards, thus boosting involvement.
Furthermore, the initiative aims to strengthen grassroots mobilization by engaging communities actively, which helps build a solid foundation.
As a result, prominent figures like Abdullahi Sunusi Ataka have already joined, demonstrating growing interest and coalition’s increasing influence.
Likewise, Ataka’s decision reflects his dedication to the coalition’s vision, recognizing that unity is vital after consultations.
“We are bringing energy, structure, and numbers into the ADC. This is the platform that truly represents the voice of ordinary citizens,” Ataka remarked.
With its membership drive gaining traction and grassroots mobilization efforts underway, the ADC appears poised to strengthen its presence across Nigeria.
The party’s coalition strategy has been lauded by analysts as a bold move that could reshape the country’s political landscape.
As preparations for the next election cycle intensify, all eyes will be on how the ADC leverages its burgeoning coalition to address Nigeria’s challenges and position itself as a credible alternative to existing political structures.
