Kwara Targets Ad Investment as Adeyeye Woos OAAN
KWSAA GM Positions State as Emerging Outdoor Advertising Hub

Kwara State is positioning itself as Nigeria’s next frontier for outdoor advertising investment, with the government assuring industry players of an enabling business climate.

At the 40th Annual General Meeting of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN), held at the association’s national secretariat in Lagos, the Acting General Manager of the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWSAA), Mr. Toba Adeyeye, reaffirmed the state’s readiness to support genuine practitioners and grow the advertising industry within its borders.

Adeyeye, a registered public administrator (rpa), addressed concerns raised by OAAN members over regulatory challenges and recent operational bottlenecks in Kwara. He explained that reforms introduced by the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration were not intended to stifle the industry, but to align advertising practices with the state’s broader economic and infrastructural development goals.

“All our efforts are geared towards creating an enabling environment for genuine practitioners. We want to ensure that only professionals operate in the State, in line with the renewed urban and economic vision of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” he said.

He described Kwara as a rising alternative to traditional advertising strongholds like Lagos and Abuja, which he said are increasingly saturated. “With ongoing infrastructural development and strategic urban planning, Kwara presents a unique and untapped opportunity for advertisers seeking growth, innovation, and long-term visibility,” Adeyeye added.

While congratulating OAAN on the successful hosting of its 40th AGM, Adeyeye commended the association for promoting professionalism and upholding ethical standards in the industry. He expressed confidence that the future of advertising in Nigeria would be driven by innovation, partnership, and expansion into emerging markets such as Kwara.
