The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting has concluded with key decisions

The party’s national elective convention is scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The convention aims to elect new National Working Committee (NWC) members who will lead the party for the next four years.

Also, a national convention committee and zoning committee have been approved to ensure a transparent process.

The convention venue was changed from Kano to Ibadan to enhance inclusivity and accessibility for delegates and members nationwide.

The opposition party said it is committed to delivering a transparent, credible, and unifying convention that will strengthen its position ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Meanwhile, the NEC meeting addressed internal party issues, including zoning reports and convention plans. The party’s leadership has assured members of a successful convention.
