Florence Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her relationship status, expressing frustration for being single at 33, in spite of her accomplishments both professionally and academically.
The daughter of Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, shared her thoughts on social media, noting the challenge of finding a suitable partner even after reaching notable heights in her career and education.
She said most of the men who have shown interest in her struggle with something as basic as spelling.
“Making it big… but mother of Dúdú and FünFün, no husband, with plenty suitors in my DMs and none can even spell Pomeranian,” she wrote.
In the past, DJ Cuppy has admitted to having her own difficulties with spelling, despite being an Oxford University alumna, a detail she used to express her surprise at the level of errors in messages she receives from potential suitors.
She also shared that she often turns to prayer when she sees wedding photos online, using the moment to remind God of her own desire for a life partner.
The entertainer, who called off her engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor in 2023, has never hidden her longing for marriage.
Recently, DJ Cuppy was named a 2025 Goalkeeper by the Gates Foundation, an honour recognizing her philanthropic work and global impact.
