el-rufaiA group, Centrum Initiative For Development And Fundamental Rights Initiative (CEDRA) has asked the governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai

[in picture] to sack his adviser on foreign investments, Mr Jimi Adebisi Lawal.

The group made the demand in a CEDRA press conference organised in Kaduna.

While speaking at the conference, Dr. John Danfulani, a Kaduna based activist, specifically asked Governor El-Rufai to sack Mr Adebisi Lawal on the pretext that he lacks the moral fortitude to act in that capacity.

According to Danfulani, Jimi Lawal is a wanted man in several countries which means such countries and their counterparts cannot invest in Kaduna State as they will view Kaduna state a fraudulent state just as they view Jimi Lawal a fraudulent man.

To buttress his point, Mr. Danfulani quoted a popular adage: “Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.”
