While pronouncing the suspension, Salihu Baba Ahmed, the Current Yola North Local Government Chairman of the party said the suspension became necessary because of Abba’s highhandedness and abuse of party’s Constitution.

He added that Abba has been going round pouring indiscriminate abuse to party’s Elder statesmen in the state, showing no respect to the entire leadership of the party.

Before now many are looking at Jimeta in the state as one capable of giving a policy statement as he on many occasions bragged to have played a big role in winning elections for APC in Adamawa state.

It could be recalled that the party has been put into serious division in the state over party supremacy that led to a parallel party leadership.
