ADC: Mark Promotes Inclusivity, Unveil Pro Tem Leadership in Benue

Makurdi, Benue State –Senator David Mark, ADC’s acting National Chairman, strongly reaffirmed the party’s inclusive vision for Nigeria.

Speaking Wednesday in Makurdi, he declared the party would welcome all citizens equally without discrimination.

Mark emphasized ADC belongs to ordinary Nigerians, not just political elites. He insisted everyone deserves fair representation regardless of background or social status.

Furthermore, the chairman promised transparent leadership during the coalition’s official unveiling.

His speech highlighted ADC’s determination to break from Nigeria’s traditional exclusionary politics.

The event marked ADC’s bold push to establish itself as a truly people-centered party.

Supporters cheered as Mark outlined plans for grassroots participation in decision-making.

Meanwhile, political observers noted this could reshape Benue’s political landscape significantly.

Moreover, Mark emphasized that, supported by Senator Gabriel Suswam, ADC remains a platform accessible to all Nigerians equally.

He stated clearly that, therefore, there will be no discrimination or shortchanging; everyone will receive fair treatment.

Furthermore, Mark emphasized that the party belongs to the people, urging participation through consultation and leadership nominations.

Additionally, he assured the audience that all societal groups, including marginalized people, women, and persons with disabilities, are represented.

He called on members to actively participate in shaping the party’s leadership, policies, and future direction convincingly.

Finally, Mark announced the formation of a seven-member pro tem leadership team to start operations in Benue State.

The interim team, led by former Representative Terngu Tsegba, will oversee the registration of new members and manage party affairs for a 30-day period starting July 9.

– Mr. Abeji Egwa – Member
– Mr. Atoo Agber – Member

In his remarks, Mr. Terngu Tsegba assured party members that the interim leadership would act with integrity and adhere strictly to the party’s rules and regulations. He pledged to nurture the ADC into a formidable force ahead of future elections.

Tsegba stated that ADC will govern Benue with fear of God, strictly following the constitution and prioritizing security.

Moreover, he emphasized that ADC aims to return internally displaced persons to their ancestral homes, ensuring local government autonomy.

He further explained that, moving forward, the government will scrap the Bureau of Local Government to ensure direct funding.

Additionally, Tsegba declared that equitable distribution of offices across communities and job creation for youth remain top priorities.

He affirmed that ADC’s government will be non-sectional, promoting fairness and treating every citizen equally, regardless of background.

Finally, Chief Olofu conveyed strong support for the ADC coalition, highlighting widespread backing from the Benue South District.

He announced that the entire zone had embraced the party and was prepared for the 2027 elections.

With its focus on inclusivity and grassroots engagement, the ADC aims to position itself as a viable alternative to existing political structures in Benue State and beyond. The unveiling of the coalition marks a significant step in its efforts to build a broad-based movement that prioritizes good governance and equitable development.
