Again, gunmen disrupt Labour Party meeting in Enugu

Gunmen suspected to be political thugs yesterday, disrupted the meeting of the Labour Party in Nomeh Unateze, Nkanu East local government area of Enugu State.

This is the second time the meeting of the party came under gunmen attack in Enugu.

On the 4th of September, the Labour Party Awgu Ward 1 meeting was also disrupted by gun wielding men.

In a viral video which was sighted by News Band, the gunmen could be heard telling the members of Labour party that they don’t want any form of political gathering in the Southeast region anymore.

However, people are beginning to question why Labour Party appears to be the only political party under attack in the state. PDP and APC have been holding meetings without any form of attack or interference from thugs.
