Businessmen in Anambra State are lamenting the excesses of taxation of the Governor Willie Obiano-led state government.
An anonymous businessman, who reached out to ElombahNews on Saturday, said that they are dying under the yoke of Obiano’s government.
According to the anonymous businessman, “before conveying the goods you bought in Anambra markets, you must acquire all this tickets or you risk the goods!
“This is what we mean when we say that Anambra is in ruin.”
He then attached an image containing 12 different tickets that must be purchased just to load/offload goods in any of the state’s markets.
The photo, attached, shows that one must pay as much as three thousand Naira depending on the size of the goods being loaded/offloaded.
The fee must paid over and over, otherwise the owner risk the goods being vandalised or confiscated.
