Things are beginning to work-out for Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba as he moves to sack Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and emerge the governor of Anambra State come March 17, 2022.
Yesterday, a Certified True Copy (CTC) of the judgement of the Federal High Court sitting in Awka presided over by Justice Hyeladzira Ajiya Nganjiwa was released.
The judgement restored Senator Andy Uba as the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 6 Anambra State governorship election.

Meanwhile, the same day, Barrister Emeka Ibe, the former state chairman of APC, who has been in the court challenging his removal vis-a-vis the appointment of Hon. Chief Basil Ejidike as his successor, withdrew his case.
He opted for dialogue with the new state leadership led by Senator Andy Uba as the leader of the party in the state.
Still on the same yesterday, the former State Secretary of APC, Mr. Chukwuma Agufugo and few former Local Government Caretaker Chairmen were heard appealing to the state chairman, Basil Ejidike for an out of Court settlement.
Mr Agufugo heads the Dr. Chris Ngige/George Muoghalu faction of the state leadership.
But he walked to Basil Ejidike who heads the Andy Uba faction after the court sitting yesterday at Awka, the Anambra State capital, and pleaded for a peaceful resolution of their misunderstanding so that APC Anambra state can be one.
This is how factions in Imo State APC came together, many withdrew their cases in court leading to Senator Hope Uzodimma emerging victorious at the Supreme court.
Hence, the question on the lips of political pundits in Anambra State over the recently concluded governorship election was: “Is Andy Uba coming?”
