The Diamond Bank located in Creek Road, Apapa, Lagos State was, on Wednesday set on fire by an angry mob, Elombah.com has gathered.
Trouble started when a policeman reportedly shot a tanker driver fatally.
A mob of angry tanker drivers went after him and he ran inside the bank.
The mod consequently set the bank on fire to avenge for their lost member.
An eyewitness informed Elombah.com that armed security operatives went about shooting sporadically to ward off hoodlums.
