The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB], Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has, on Tuesday, issued death sentence to anyone who insists that Biafra will not be achieved.
Mazi Kanu made the declaration at the father’s palace, His Royal Majesty, Eze I.O Kanu in Isiama Afara Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia State.
While addressing a crowd of IPOB members, Kanu said the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra Republic has just begun.
He also declared categorically that there will be no more election in the South-East region.
Citing Anambra State as a starting point, he said elections will not hold until referendum is approved by the Nigerian government.
Acknowledging the large crowd that turned up within short notice after a call was put up, Kanu asked them in a loud voice: “Are we ready for freedom?”
Responding, the crowd chanted, “Yes!”
