Arsenal face major injury crisis ahead of Anfield battle

(DDM) – Arsenal travel to Anfield for a crucial Premier League clash against Liverpool amid a growing injury list that threatens to derail their title challenge.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that Mikel Arteta will be without Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz, three key players who have been ruled out due to injuries.

Saka’s absence is seen as the biggest setback. The England international sustained a hamstring injury during last week’s fixture and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

Speaking ahead of the match, Arteta expressed disappointment but confirmed that the issue was less severe than the winger’s previous injury.

“Bukayo is doing better, but he will be out for a few weeks unfortunately,” the manager stated.

“It is not as bad as the last one. It’s just very unlucky that he picked it up, and this time it’s on the other leg,” Arteta added.

Arteta also faces concerns over Ben White, Christian Norgaard, Leandro Trossard, and captain Martin Odegaard, who are all listed as doubts for the trip to Merseyside.

Reports suggest Odegaard and Trossard travelled with the squad, providing some hope for a potential boost in midfield and attack.

On a brighter note, Arsenal fans could witness the debut of £67.5 million signing Eberechi Eze. The former Crystal Palace midfielder joined last week and has trained with the first team in preparation for the match.

Eze’s creativity and attacking flair could prove vital as Arsenal attempt to secure a crucial victory against a Liverpool side known for their formidable home record.

Historically, Anfield has been a challenging venue for Arsenal. Their last league win there dates back to 2012, with Liverpool often dominating recent encounters.

This fixture has also played a decisive role in past title races, making today’s game a significant test of Arsenal’s squad depth and mentality.

Liverpool, who remain unbeaten at home this season, will look to exploit Arsenal’s weakened line-up with their high-pressing style and attacking firepower.

With both sides competing at the top end of the table, the clash promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the weekend.
