Enugu, Nigeria – May 24, 2025: The Africa Thinkers Community of Inquiries College of Education (ATCOICOE) celebrated its matriculation ceremony today. As an affiliate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), the institution welcomed students from its main campus and study centers nationwide. The event highlighted the college’s dedication to advancing teacher education and critical thinking.

Transitioning into a new academic phase, ATCOICOE aims to cultivate creativity, technological skills, and analytical reasoning among future educators. By partnering with ESUT, the college has expanded access to quality education through study centers in key locations. For instance, the Wanikade center in Cross River State has actively engaged students in academic programs.

During the ceremony, attendees from various regions, including Wanikade, expressed enthusiasm. Prince Raphael Obok, the center’s coordinator, facilitated their participation. Students networked with peers and faculty, reinforcing a sense of academic community.

Miss Maureen, a Wanikade student, shared her gratitude in an interview with Diaspora Digital Media (DDM). She commended the institution’s flexible learning approach, stating, “This program helps us study while managing other responsibilities.” Her remarks underscored the value of accessible education.

Speaking to DDM reporter Ugbo, Joshua  Okorie, Prince Obok emphasized education’s role in societal progress. “An educated mind drives development,” he said. “Our center is expanding, and this marks our third matriculation. Let’s collaborate to widen educational access.” His words reinforced the institution’s mission.

Through its partnership with ESUT, ATCOICOE demonstrates a strong commitment to improving teacher training. By establishing centers in remote areas like Wanikade, the college ensures inclusivity. Every student, regardless of location, gains opportunities for growth.
