Auto crash kills famous NTA newscaster, Phil Obanor

A seasoned broadcaster and immediate past Zonal Director, NTA Benin Network Centre, Phil Obanor, has died in a road crash.

Phil Obanor was a well-respected figure in the Nigerian broadcasting industry.

During her tenure as Zonal Director of the NTA Benin Network Centre, she played a key role in shaping the station’s programming and content.

Joy Osiagwu, a veteran broadcaster and former NTA newscaster, died at the age of 50.

Her death was met with an outpouring of tributes from her colleagues and the broadcasting community.

Yinka Craig, a pioneering broadcaster and NTA staff member, passed away in 2021 at the age of 80.

He was known for his iconic TV shows and his contributions to the development of broadcasting in Nigeria.

Sadiq Daba, a veteran broadcaster, actor, and former NTA staff member, passed away on March 3, 2021.

He had a long and distinguished career in broadcasting and was known for his dedication and professionalism.

Baba Sala, a renowned comedian and broadcaster who worked with NTA, passed away on October 8, 2018, at the age of 82.

He was a pioneering figure in Nigerian comedy and was known for his witty humor and infectious laughter.
