Bandits kill Miyetti Allah chairman, abduct 2 wives, daughter

The chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Katsina State, Alhaji Surajo Ahmed has been killed by gunmen suspected to be terror bandits.

Surajo was killed when the terror elements attacked his home in the Mai Rana community of Kusada Local Government Area of the State.

The National President of MACBAN, Alhaji Baba Usman Ngelzarma, while confirming the unfortunate incident, said the attackers struck at 10pm on Saturday.

He revealed that Ahmed’s two wives and daughter were kidnapped by the armed men.

According to him, the association has contacted the police and other security agencies to investigate the incident and secure the release of the kidnapped victims.

“The attack occurred last night around 10 pm. We have reached out to the police and other security organisations for intervention,” he said.

Katsina State police command is yet to issue a statement in respect to the attack.
