Bayelsa political activist congratulates Ogbuku on screening/clearance by Senate, Reps for NDDC job

A Bayelsa-born political activist, Prince Crispus Amarabhi Ovoh Jr., has congratulated Chief Samuel Ogbuku on successful screening and clearance by the Senate and House of Representatives Committees Members for the position of Chairman of Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

In a telephone interview with News Band correspondent, Prince Ovoh Jr. also hailed lawmakers of the Senate and House of Representatives for their successful screening and clearance of the current NDDC board under the leadership of Chief Ogbuku.

Prince Crispus assured Ogbuku of his total support and hailed his achievements within the short time in office

He urged Ogbuku to ensure accountability and transparency in the utilization of funds and emphasized on the importance of investing in youths as the future of the Niger Delta region.

Further, Prince Crispus urged the board to prioritize infrastructure development, particularly in the areas of road construction, electricity, and healthcare facilities.

He stressed the need for the board to work closely with the relevant stakeholders, including the state governments, to ensure that development projects are implemented effectively and efficiently.

In conclusion, Ovoh Jr. expressed his confidence in Ogbuku’s leadership and his ability to bring about positive change in the Niger Delta region and called on all stakeholders to support the new board in their efforts to transform the region and improve the lives of its people.
