The executive of Adamawa state, senator Mohammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has on Thursday advised leaders at all levels to carry the traditional institutions in providing good governance.
Bindow gave the advice during a solidarity visit by the people of Adamawa North Senatorial District on the governor in Yola.
The governor said that the traditional institutions were having a formidable structure that if we’ll utilised would assist in providing good governance.
He added that the traditional institution had a better structure that could assimilate information and intelligence gathering for the purpose of security.
He commended the Lamido of Adamawa Dr Mustapha Barkindo for his fatherly advice which has translated to his giant stride development of the state.
Bundle, while thanking the people of the Adamawa Senatorial District for their solidarity visit, assured that he would not fail them.
Earlier, sen. Iya Abubakar. Leader of the delegation commended the governor for not the tremendous developmental projects he has recorded within two years of his administration.
Abubakar, a former Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, expressed their commitment to support the administration to succeed.
The leader also promised the governor that that the delegation would go round all the 21 local government areas of the state to thank them and to mobilise support for him.
Eminent politicians from the Adamawa North Senatorial District, among which includes Sen.Binta Garba, Sen Mohammed Mana, the two House of Representatives members from the zone among many others.
