Bombshell: Netanyahu accuses Iran of plotting to kill Trump

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dropped a bombshell, revealing that Iran’s Islamic regime plotted to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump, branding him “enemy number one” due to his tough stance against Tehran’s nuclear program.

In a no-holds-barred interview with Fox News on Sunday,June 15, 2025,  Netanyahu disclosed that Iran viewed Trump as a serious obstacle to its atomic ambitions and sought to eliminate him.

“They want to kill him. He’s enemy number one,” Netanyahu said, applauding Trump’s refusal to appease the regime.

“He tore up the fake nuclear deal, killed Qasem Soleimani, and made it clear Iran would never get the bomb.”

Netanyahu claimed Iran saw Trump’s bold actions as a direct threat to its long-term nuclear ambitions.

Unlike previous administrations, Trump refused to play nice, instead opting for hardline policies that included sanctions, military strikes, and withdrawal from the controversial Iran nuclear agreement

The Israeli leader, who called himself Trump’s “junior partner” in deterring Tehran, revealed he was also targeted by Iranian forces, recounting how a missile struck the bedroom window of his residence.

“We faced an imminent, dual existential threat,” Netanyahu said, referring to Iran’s nuclear program and growing ballistic missile stockpile.

“They were preparing 3,600 missiles a year, each capable of striking deep into Israeli territory.”

Netanyahu said Israel had no choice but to launch a preemptive strike, dubbed Operation Rising Lion, which he called “one of the greatest military operations in history.”

According to him, the offensive not only disrupted Iran’s nuclear timeline but sent a clear message to the regime and the world.

“We are protecting Israel, yes. But we are also protecting the world from a fanatical regime determined to go nuclear,” he said.

The fallout has already begun. Iran launched a barrage of ballistic missiles in response, targeting Israeli cities.

However, Israeli defense systems intercepted many of them.

Despite the heightened tensions, Netanyahu insisted Israel would not back down.

“We’re ready to do whatever it takes. Negotiations with terrorists lead nowhere,” he declared.

“There will not be a second Holocaust on my watch.”

He ended with a direct message to the Iranian people, urging them to rise against the regime that has held them in chains for five decades.
