Umar Zulum Umara, the son of Borno State governor, professor Babagana Zulum has been arrested in India for allegedly stabbing an Indian national to death in a nightclub.
This was disclosed by PIDOMNigeria which reported that Umar killed his victim with a bottle following an argument that ensued over a woman at the nightclub.
Umar is currently being detained by the Indian authorities according to PIDOMNigeria.
The platform also revealed that professor Zulum has gone to India to use his influence and diplomatic connections to settle the issue but the whole thing is not panning out well.
“His father has gone there to use his influence and diplomatic means to settle the case, but no way. He has offered to pay the family of the deceased billions, but no way.’’

“He is currently in detention, and the Indian government/family of the deceased is not letting this one sleep.
“Money in billions and diplomatic channels has been rejected.
“He killed a guy at a nightclub with bottle”, PIDOMNigeria reported.
