BREAKING: Buhari Meets Service Chiefs, Govs Ahead Elections

President Muhammadu Buhari met behind closed doors with service chiefs on Tuesday ahead of the general elections coming up on Saturday.

The meeting kicked off around 11am at the President’s Aso Rock office.

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, as well as some governors, especially from the northern part of the country were also present.

The governors present at the meeting include Governors Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa State, Kashim Shettima of Borno State, and Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State.

Also present were Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Danbazzau and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha.

Top on the agenda, an insider reveled to ElombahNews, are the security situation in the country as it affects the general elections.

Also on the top burner is the botched and upcoming Presidential and National Assembly elections.
