BREAKING: Dollar hits N800 in the parallel market

Bureau de Change operators has just informed News Band that the Dollar has hit N800 in the parallel market by Wednesday afternoon, July 12, 2023.

News Band had earlier reported that the Naira exchange rate in the parallel market for Wednesday morning was N795.00.

However, by the closing of the day’s business, the Dollar has, for the first time, hit N800 in the parallel market.

According News Band economist analyst, “the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has successfully moved the Dollar from N750.00 to N800 in just a month and a half”.

“Interesting times ahead,” he added.
