The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested popular socialite, Emeka Okonkwo Daniel, aka E-Money, over alleged abuse of the Nigerian currency.
E-Money was taken into custody by the operatives of the anti-graft agency on Monday night at his residence in the Omole area of Lagos.
Sources within the commission confirmed on Tuesday that the businessman was arrested for allegedly spraying United States dollars at public events, an act which contravene the Foreign Exchange Act.
