A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is currently ill, as the Abuja Federal High Court adjourned the trial till February 6, 2017.
Chief Fani-Kayode’s state of health was made known today in Court by his lawyer, Wale Balogun.
The former Minister is expected to appear today in court for continuation of alleged money laundering charges by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He also said that Fani-Kayode’s doctor has advised he stayed back.
Also providing a medical report to the court, Balogun, apologized for his client’s absence.
After the request for adjournment by Fani-Kayode’s lawyer and the prosecution counsel refused to object the prayer, Justice Tsoho, adjourned the matter to Monday, February 6.
