BREAKING: Gernot Rohr sacked as Super Eagles coach

Published

Mr. Gernot Rohr has been sacked as Super Eagles coach.

Mr. Rohr was sacked after a meeting by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials on Thursday.

Decision to sack the Eagles’ henchman followed Nigeria’s abysmal performance during the World Cup qualification matches which saw Nigeria qualify for the play-offs.

The last straw was the 1-1 draw against Cape Verde which ensured the Eagles qualify for the play-off at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

Rohr’s disengagement may be officially announced soon, News.band gathered.
